PROCESS
Through weekly discussion with the professor and guest speakers, we were exposed to the history and terminologies associated with venture investment. This was an application oriented course and we were expected to apply the concepts learnt to build our own mock venture capital firm to evaluate an existing entrepreneurial venture.

OUTCOME
Understood the concepts related to funding and analyzing startups.
Also got the opportunity to many entrepreneurs who tried to demystify the venture capital industry.
Thoroughly understood the process of conducting due diligence and evaluating business models. The final presentation/ report involved creating a mock venture capital firm with 3 of my classmates and evaluating companies for investment. Professor lauded our due diligence model as the most thorough ever created for this course till date.
